Primal Hues brings together artistic positions that explore color as an autonomous pictorial event, emerging partly in dialogue with the tradition of Color Field painting and partly from independent abstract approaches. Beyond narrative or figurative references, the exhibition foregrounds the immediate impact of color—its deep materiality and metaphysical presence.

Within concentrated pictorial spaces, elemental hues such as ultramarine blue, black, orange, yellow, and gold unfold as carriers of tension, light, and inner movement. The works by Bodo Korsig, Judith Sturm, Enrique Fuentes, Willi Siber, and Gerd Kanz approach color as an emotional, spatial, and temporally open medium, situated between perception and contemplation.
