Solo Exhibition: Levent Tas

The latest edition of Galeria HMH’s weekly exhibition series spotlights the powerful works of steel artist Levent Tas.
The Concept: In this solo show, Levent Tas transforms Banksy’s world-famous, often ephemeral stencil motifs—such as the iconic “Girl with Balloon”—into permanent, heavy metal art.
The Material: Colored industrial steel drums serve as the raw material. These are cut open, welded, and fashioned into sculptural 3D wall objects. The rough, often already weathered texture of the steel lends the familiar motifs a completely new, tactile impact (“High Impact”).
