SUMMER REFRESH

Galeria HMH invites you to a dynamic visual refresh in the heart of summer. In the spaces of Gallery 2, the exhibition challenges traditional ways of seeing. It stages an exciting dialogue between established art greats and fresh, pioneering voices in contemporary art.

Sculptor Markus Eck presents works of fascinating technical precision. Using a highly sophisticated, labour-intensive welding technique, he shapes filigree yet powerful sculptures from copper. These capture the light of the south in a very special way.

The works of Helmut Brehm provide an emotional counterpoint to this. His childlike animal images are bursting with joie de vivre. They bring a carefree, humorous and refreshing perspective to the exhibition spaces.

In the exhibition, these new voices meet the unmistakable styles of international art icons. A conceptual work by Christo & Jean-Claude, the vibrantly coloured worlds of Otmar Alt and the expressive compositions of Sinasi Bozatli form the foundation of this high-calibre exhibition.
