The arch sculptures by Gerd Kanz show the fascination of the shape of a building element from Christian and Islamic architectural history. The three-dimensional wall objects or free-standing sculptures show arch forms and are reminiscent of historical state architecture. What initially seems open turns out to be an impenetrable grid and shows an exciting game.
His works can be seen in national and international exhibitions.
